I've been busy with moving and preparing for a very long hospital stay lately, so I apologize for my lack of posting lately. Today, you get some pictures of the results of our last faire two weeks ago and what I've been doing with them since then.
I spent most of that weekend dyeing again. Here some of the results from that:
As you can see in the background, I started to make another of my duodecagonal blankets from the yarn. Yes, the pattern will still be written out for you to work, give me some time to get that sorted out ;) This copy will be a bit larger than the last, around 5'4"-5'8" in diameter, roughly guessed.
One of the members of my group had complained about cold hands at the faire a week before that, so he's getting fingerless mittens made with natural white and logwood-dyed yarn in Korgen stitch. He's already been wearing the one that's already done all weekend two weeks ago because it was cold again, so it's starting to look worn before the second one is even finished. I worked one row around each finger to help them stay up while working.
Good luck with your upcoming surgery!
AntwortenLöschenYour duodecagonal blanket is looking gorgeous! I look forward to when you have the pattern for it. ;)
